Refund Policy

General Policy

Donations made to Sonam Memorial Foundation are voluntary contributions and are generally non-refundable, as funds are often allocated to programs shortly after receipt.

Exceptions

We will consider a refund request in the following cases:

• A duplicate transaction occurred due to a technical error
• An incorrect amount was charged due to a system error
• The donation was made fraudulently without the donor's authorization (subject to verification)

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under the exceptions above, please contact us at sonam.m.foundation@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction, along with your donation receipt number and transaction details. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days and credited back to the original payment method via our payment gateway.

Monthly / Recurring Donations

You may cancel a recurring donation at any time by contacting us. Cancellation will stop future charges but does not automatically refund past contributions unless they fall under the exceptions above.
